Why This Role Exists

As the portfolio grows, the founder needs to shift from operating businesses to acquiring and optimizing them. This role exists to ensure stability, visibility, and continuous improvement across day-to-day operations.

Is This Role for You?

✅ A good fit if you

  • Enjoy running and improving existing systems (not building from scratch)
  • Like structure, numbers, and clarity — dashboards, metrics, SOPs excite you
  • Prefer calm execution over hustle culture
  • Are comfortable supporting multiple businesses
  • Want a long-term, trust-based collaboration
  • Are curious about AI and automation (n8n, Make, AI agents)

❌ Not a fit if you

  • Want to drive strategy or build your own thing
  • Prefer creative work over operational execution
  • Need constant novelty or variety
  • Want fast career progression

What You'll Work On

You'll operate a portfolio of profitable digital businesses across:

📺 Content platforms

📚 Publishing operations

💼 E-commerce & ads

📊 Reporting & dashboards

Time commitment: 6–10 hours/week initially (can grow to 15–20h as the portfolio scales).

Growth path: Business Operations Partner

As Tiny Moat grows, this role can evolve into a Business Operations Partner position when you demonstrate:

At that stage: increased scope and autonomy, expanded hours (15–25h/week), higher rate or fixed retainer, and optional performance incentives. Timeline: typically 6–12 months after trial, based on trust and results.

Automation & AI: Why It Matters

Tiny Moat is building towards AI-assisted operations — from manual dashboard checks today towards AI agents that pull metrics automatically, n8n workflows that automate repetitive tasks, and AI decision support that flags anomalies and opportunities.

You'll help identify automation opportunities, test and refine AI workflows as we build them, and learn no-code tools to reduce manual work over time. We're not looking for an automation expert — just someone curious and willing to learn as we build this together.

How We Work

The founder provides clear SOPs, decision frameworks and KPIs, reviews weekly dashboards and monthly reports, makes strategic decisions, and removes blockers. You won't be left guessing — everything you need is documented before your trial starts.
